In 2008 we spent three months in America and Canada, first travelling by train from San Francisco via Salt Lake City & Denver to Chicago, then hiring a car for the journey to Niagara Falls, Ottawa and Montreal before joining a cruise out of Quebec via the St Lawrence Seaway, around Novo Scotia to Boston and New York.
We then hired a car to drive to Prince Edward Island to see Anne of Green Gables before heading south again to Gettysburg, Philadelphia and Washington DC. We then drove west to Memphis on the Mississippi before ending our journey at Dallas. Below is a map of our journey.
